Vertical steel tank
Purpose: Vertical steel tanks are used for storage of large quantities of oil and its derivatives, and can also be used for storage of other non-aggressive liquids.
Technical characteristics: The tank is cylindrical in shape with two tori-spherical bottoms. The volumes and main dimensions of the tank are given in the table.
The tank is made of S235JRG2 sheet steel by welding. It is equipped with an entrance to the tank (inspection opening) and a connection for the heater. The number of connections for the heater (one or two) depends on the order. The tank connections are located on the cover of the inspection opening, and at the customer’s request they can also be placed on the cover of the heater connections.
Ladders, fences and other equipment, necessary for operation, are contracted separately. The tank is protected from corrosion on the outside with a primer, and we do the internal protection at the customer’s request. Each tank was tested for impermeability with water at a pressure of 2 bar.
Ordering example:
VCR – 10 – heater connections 500/600
VCR – vertical steel tank
10 – tank volume in m3
500 – diameter of the first heater connector
600 – diameter of the second heater connector
Oval tank
Purpose: The oval tank is intended for storage of small quantities of liquid fuels intended for central heating of residential buildings.
Technical characteristics: The tank is oval in shape, made of steel sheet S235JRG2. The connections on the tank are adjusted according to the needs of the hot water heating installation. The hydraulic test is performed on the impermeability of the welds at 1.3 bar. The tank is anti-corrosion protected and painted with primer.
By special order, additional equipment is delivered – measuring rod, breather valve, filling cap.
Order example: R1500
R – tank
1500 – tank volume
- Discharge connector
- Charging connector (in case of connecting multiple res. To the battery)
- Vent connection
- Return line connection
- Fuel drain / supply connection
- Level control connector
Note: Different connection layouts and dimensions are possible
Tank with double sheath
Purpose: The horizontal double shielded tank is intended for the storage of light heating oils, which do not require preheating and are not under a pressure higher than 0.5 bar. It can be installed where increased safety, protection of land and environment from pollution is required. It can be installed as overground or underground.
Technical characteristics: The horizontal double shielded tank is cylindrical in shape and is made of sheet metal S235JRG2. The double shielded has all the connections as well as the tank, and in addition to these, it must also have an R1 ” connection for installing control accessories. This threaded connection is placed at the highest point. In addition to the control connection, another connection was installed for the air outlet when filling the test liquid, which is located between the layers.
Order example: LDP 20 PU
LDP – horizontal double shielded
20 – tank volume
PU – semi underground
Lying steel tank
Purpose: The horizontal steel tank is intended for storage of oil and its derivatives (except fuel oil), and can also be used for storage of other non-aggressive liquids. It can be installed as above ground or underground.
Technical characteristics: The tanks are designed and manufactured for a maximum operating pressure of 0.5 bar, and tested under water pressure of 2 bar. The reservoir is cylindrical in shape with two lateral tori-spherical bottoms. It is made of S235JRG2 sheet steel by welding.
The connectors are placed on the cover of the inspection opening. The number and arrangement of connections is given in the drawing, and at the customer’s request, another arrangement and number of connections is possible.
It is also possible to deliver complete reinforcement at the customer’s request, then delivery of the manhole base, burial manhole set, anchor tape, etc.
Every tank, regardless of the method of installation, is protected against corrosion. The outer surfaces of the tank are protected with a base paint coating, and for tanks that are buried in the ground (at the customer’s request), the outer protection is performed with a condor tape certified at a breakdown voltage of 14,000V. The external protection does not attack the steel and is resistant to the harmful influence of the earth. At the customer’s request, we also perform internal anti-corrosion protection with coatings resistant to the effects of stored liquid.
Ordering example: Tank type CR – 50
CR – steel tank,
50 – tank volume in m3
N – overhead installation
Note: The tank can be made with two inspection openings, the base for the shaft, as well as with a set of connections and fittings or at the special request of the customer.
We also make tanks with steel supports or linings for concrete foundations.
Standing tanks and silos
Purpose: Tanks and silos are made of various sizes, used to store various fluids or powdered substances in various industrial plants and other facilities.
Technical characteristics: Standing tanks and silos are made of fine-grained structural carbon or alloy steels, by welding.
The shape, main dimensions and quality of these tanks are in line with the needs of the customer and the type of material stored in them.
Tanks for underground installation
Purpose: Tanks for liquefied petroleum gas – LPG are used for storage of liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane or their mixtures) which serves as a propellant or for other purposes in the process industry.
Underground storage tanks for LPG are mainly used in stations for supplying motor vehicles with liquefied petroleum gas, in power plants or in propane and butane filling stations.
Technical characteristics: LPG tanks are made of fine-grained structural carbon steels, by welding.
Metal service shafts as well as additional equipment (fittings, etc.) are also delivered by special order. At the request of the customer, it is possible to make a different arrangement of connections than given in the standard version.
The tanks are delivered waterproofed on request, according to the regulations for storage of LPG in underground tanks.
Connections and openings:
- Audit opening: * for V> 30 m3, 2 pieces
- Safety valve connection

- Thermometer
- Manometer
Tanks for overhead installation
Purpose: Tanks for liquefied petroleum gas – LPG (LPG) are used for storage of liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane or their mixtures) which serves as a propellant or for other purposes in the process industry.
Overgound storage tanks for LPG are mainly used in industrial plants, power plants or in propane and butane filling stations.
Technical characteristics: LPG tanks are made of fine-grained structural carbon steels, by welding.
A platform with a service climber, a cooling system for water cooling or additional equipment (fittings, etc.) is also delivered by special order. At the request of the customer, it is possible to make a different arrangement of connections than given in the standard version.
